Our staff team is the main reason why we are able to provide such great care for the children in our nursery and we are proud to have such a highly qualified and experienced team. We have a total of eleven full time staff and seven of these are currently qualified to senior level. In addition, two of the staff are qualified to Management level and the Manager has a degree in childcare.
Not only is this way above the minimum OFSTED requirements but it shows that we are dedicated to ensuring their skills and abilities are constantly being expanded. Our ongoing training strategy is designed to motivate and challenge the staff to improve all aspects of their childcare skills.
Research shows that staff turnover in a nursery setting is generally very high, however, we are proud to say that staff turnover at TiggyWigs has always been very low. We select our staff very carefully and as well as considering their qualifications and experience we only select them if they have a genuine love and understanding of children. We are a close-knit team, fully respect each other and value the work and effort that everyone puts in. We regularly meet to discuss new developments or concerns and feel our family culture is reflected in the excellent reputation that we have.
